Violin Lessons for all ages: young children to adults welcomeTranslate this text using Google Translate.

As a violin teacher, my goal is to create a positive learning environment while cultivating the student’s love for music. I believe in developing music-reading as well as ear-training skills in my student’s music education. I work hard to tailor each lesson to meet the individual student’s musical goals, level and learning style. I have experience teaching students from age 3 to adult and from absolute beginner to college-level students. As a conservatory trained violinist, I teach a solid foundation in violin technique, theory and repertoire. I currently maintain a private violin studio in Yokohama and one in my home in Kawasaki. I can teach in both English and Japanese. Learning to play the violin is a lifelong process. Music can lead us to new opportunities, meet interesting people and travel to unique places. Everyone can learn to play the violin. It is never too late to start! I look forward to being a part of you or your child’s musical journey. He is very insightful and practical how to think or play. He is definitely a musician before a drummer. He immediately figured out my weakness and how to approach to develop to the next step. He reminded me the importance of listening and being able to adopt to the situations rather than being caught up with technicality. It helped me to figure out how to navigate my next directions. I would recommend Darryl. He can expand your mindset and spots that you need to work on.

Ayumi-san has a very energetic presence and a wonderful connection with my daughter. Even though we have had only one lesson so far, the way she adapted the lesson ,without making it too difficult, encouraged my daughter even more instead of discouraging her. This truly motivated her to play with greater enthusiasm. Thank you, Ayumi-san. I strongly feel that we will achieve very good results together in a short time.

Yuudai is a great drum instructor. He is not only professional but also very kind and attentive. He makes learning fun and really help you understand the techniques. My drumming has improved even after the first lesson. Whether you're a beginner or advanced, Yuudai is the perfect choice.
