I offer individual violin lessons for beginners, advanced players and music students. My particular focus is on Baroque music and historically informed performance practice. For the past three years, I have been intensively studying the Baroque violin and the music of the 17th and 18th centuries. In my teaching, I convey not only technical fundamentals but also stylistic understanding, phrasing, articulation, and the characteristic sound of Baroque music. In addition, I naturally also teach the classical violin repertoire. Lessons cover playing technique, bowing, intonation, vibrato, scales, musical expression, and efficient practice. I'm happy to support you with entrance exams, competitions, orchestra auditions, or when learning new pieces. Each lesson is individually tailored to your goals and skill level. These courses are primarily aimed at beginners or false beginners wishing to learn the violin on a solid foundation, in a progressive and motivating way. Trained in classical and chamber music by a conservatory professor, I have developed an approach to the violin that is both rigorous and accessible, always keeping the pleasure of playing as the objective. We work on the essential fundamentals: posture, bow hold, intonation, tone, and basic musicality. Emphasis is placed on a clear progression adapted to each student. Each lesson is personalized according to your pace and objectives, whether it's to discover the instrument, consolidate the basics or evolve towards a more expressive style of playing.
