Violin lesson | Culture of Sound | Philosophy of musicTranslate this text using Google Translate.

Violin lessons can be much more than learning notes, technique, and repertoire. In my classes, I want to develop what I call a culture of sound: the ability to truly listen, to understand the character and quality of a sound, and to discover how one note can carry emotion, intention, and meaning. Alongside violin technique, we explore the philosophy of music - why music affects us so deeply, how interpretation changes what we hear, and how musicians learn to communicate something that cannot always be expressed in words. Playing the violin is also a unique form of mental training. It requires the ears, eyes, hands, memory, imagination, and attention to work together at the same time. In this sense, music is both meditation and one of the most powerful exercises in concentration. Regular practice develops focus, coordination, memory, and the brain's ability to learn. My goal is therefore not simply to teach someone how to play the violin. I want students to develop a sensitive ear, an individual relationship with sound, intellectual curiosity, and the ability to become completely absorbed in music. Learning to play an instrument means becoming part of the beauty and discovering the almost magical feeling of creating music yourself. So lets learn together to create musical magic.

Violin lesson for all ages. Get to know the beauty of music with me!Translate this text using Google Translate.

Unterricht auf Deutsch auch möglich 日本語レッスン可 Hi, my name is Atsu and I'd love to pass on my knowledge, my experiences and my passion to you! I started playing the violin when I was three and up until now I've studied with Fuminori Shinozaki and Simon Wiener, amongst others. I gladly offer my assistance to you, so that you can achieve your goals efficiently. Here, it's important for me to discover your strengths together and help you develop them further. Of course, I will make sure that you have fun and you stay motivated:) Probably what's special about my lesson is that we're also going to play duets, which should help you learn to listen to other musicians and acquire the skills needed for playing in an ensemble. In the long run: it's not just about learning the rules and correct techniques; it is also vital that you eventually learn to interpret the music on your own personal way by using your (musical) intelligence, and to have the confidence to break traditional norms. It is through the hands of artists who dare to experiment that music (like all art forms) becomes alive. Your (or your child's) age doesn't matter that much; it's never too late to start learning! I will adapt the teaching methods individually.

I am a violinist based in Vienna with extensive performance and teaching experience. The last few years I have studied in many cities (such as Frankfurt, Brussels and Amsterdam), learning from some of the best music professors in Europe. Have you always wanted to play the violin? Or maybe your child is into music and would love to learn to play an instrument? Then, this might be a great opportunity for you to fulfill that desire. If on the contrary you are an advanced student, I would love to help you build solid technique and support your own musicality. On the other hand, I do love all kinds of music. I am happy to work with you in Pop or Folk songs for example. I did play many years in Pop and Folk bands at different venues, such as resorts in Greece! If you would like to, any song can be arranged and played on the violin. I love meeting new students and helping them through their journey with the instrument. Every individual has different needs and goals and as a teacher I work together with every student, giving them the tools, knowledge and support they need to reach those goals. Making music and learning how to do it should be always a enjoyable process. Fortunately, when you like music and have a supportive and experienced teacher, helping you out and giving you the tools you need in every moment, that joy and stress-free music-making comes easily. I have 10 years of experience teaching private lessons to different ages and levels and several years of teaching internships during my studies. Please, do not hesitate to contact me for any further questions or book.

Professional violinist, soloist, concert master and teacher offering online violin lessons. I am currently employed as an assistant violin professor at the Ljubljana Music Academy and have been working as concert master of Philharmonie Salzburg and Ljubljana Soloists for the better part of the last decade. My concert experience involves soloistic and chamber music performances at prestigious venues and festivals in Austria, Germany, Switzerland, Italy, Spain, Poland, Slovenia, Croatia and China. My pedagogical approach is very systematic and includes technical preparation, musical interpretation, performance practice of different styles and orchestral audition preparation. I studied violin with Igor Ozim at the Mozarteum University in Salzburg and Rainer Schmidt at the Music Academy Basel as well as baroque violin with David Plantier at the Schola Cantorum Basiliensis. I have lately been dedicating special attention to the performance practice of the baroque and classical eras so you are welcome to consult me on this topic as well as any other violin playing aspect. I am a young and relaxed teacher, willing to adapt my way of teaching to the level and expectation of every individual. Students of all ages and levels are welcome to contact me. I teach in English, German, Slovene or Serbian.

I studied the violin for about 2 months with Fermin and I have grown much in my knowledge of not just how to play but how to think when playing. Fermin has also helped a lot with technical struggles allowing me to break through some of the challenges that were bothering me for a long time. He is a very patient teacher but he will not hesitate to stop you and correct you (as any good teacher would) if you are not playing correctly. I personally requested that he gives me honest feedback which really helped me play better tecnically and musically. I believe he will be open to adapting his strictness upon specific requests. The time difference (Fermin being in Spain and I being in the US) has not been easy but Fermin was very willing to bend his schedule and provided several time slots to accommodate my availability. To sum up, if you are looking for a teacher that is patient in character yet unrelenting toward the goal of fully tapping your potential both musically and tecnically, I would recommend you take a lesson with Fermin.

We came to Vienna from Madrid for a visit and my 10 years old daughter took viola classes from Martina. Incredibly an intensive experience. The impact was remarkable. She opened a completely new musical perspective and introduced concepts and techniques that my daughter had not heard yet. Her teaching is inspiring, clear, and highly motivating. Thank you so much Martina

Sandra has been a great teacher! She was patient with me and my schedule and ever since our first lesson, she's been flexible and available for all of our lessons. I haven't taken Estonian in over 10 years and I'm excited to keep learning with Sandra. She has a good plan for learning Estonian that won't overwhelm a beginner!
