VIOLIN LESSONS: At your own pace and with your own listening skills, you will learn music that is dear to you and cultivate the joy of music. A violinist for 20 years, I received classical music training at a conservatory. I experiment with different violin styles (Baroque, Oriental, Balkan, folk, South American, popular music, film music, etc.). I impart the necessary technique to play what you want and adapt to each student's desires and goals. I studied at a conservatory in France, a higher education institution in Belgium, and with private lessons in Germany in classical and baroque violin. I completed a comprehensive conservatory training program over 20 years, with weekly classes in violin, orchestra, music theory, and choir. I have been teaching violin regularly since 2020. I continue to refine my skills and am committed to providing supportive instruction that is attentive to each student's needs. Annual trips, workshops, and tours enrich my skills and teaching methods. I am aware of the perfectionism of some violinists, the stress of playing in front of the teacher or other people, and the frustration of not being able to play what one wants quickly. That is why I guide the student towards a more relaxed and patient practice towards themselves while increasing their level of expectation. I offer individual violin lessons for beginners, advanced players and music students. My particular focus is on Baroque music and historically informed performance practice. For the past three years, I have been intensively studying the Baroque violin and the music of the 17th and 18th centuries. In my teaching, I convey not only technical fundamentals but also stylistic understanding, phrasing, articulation, and the characteristic sound of Baroque music. In addition, I naturally also teach the classical violin repertoire. Lessons cover playing technique, bowing, intonation, vibrato, scales, musical expression, and efficient practice.
