I'm committed to making lessons enjoyable, supportive, and motivating, helping each student find their own voice on the instrument. I have extensive experience giving violin masterclasses in Austria, Poland, Slovakia, and Mexico, and I served as artistic director for educational concert series in Eastern Poland (2009–2018). Since 2022, I have been on the stringed instruments faculty at the Academy of Arts in Banská Bystrica (Slovakia). I draw from my childhood experience learning violin in Brazil, where I discovered how to enjoy music and, from that, how it could shape my own future. I am happy to teach students of any level—beginner, intermediate, or advanced—helping them develop technique, musical expression, and a lifelong love of playing. I’m from Japan and studied at the Mozarteum University in Salzburg. I am a professional violinist and a member of the Beija-flor String Quartet, with international experience as a soloist and chamber musician. I have performed at major festivals including the Salzburg Festival and Schleswig-Holstein Musik Festival, and my recordings include Mozart’s rediscovered Ganz kleine Nachtmusik KV648 with Deutsche Grammophon. I have received awards such as 1st Prize at the Zhuhai International Mozart Competition (China) and the Special Prize “Swabian Chamber Music” at the Leopold Mozart International Violin Competition (Germany).

I am an Australian 🇦🇺 Musician now based in Vienna with a Bachelor of Music Performance (Jazz) from the Sydney Conservatorium of Music. I have been performing as a professional musician & teaching Flute, Violin, Singing and Music Theory for 10 years both privately and through primary, secondary and private tuition schools. Curriculum vitae: Theresa Singer was born in Innsbruck in 1998, where she was already 5 years old began to play the violin. She completed her preparatory studies at the Tyrolean State Conservatory with Annedore Oberborbeck and completed her Bachelor's degree at the University of Music and Performing Arts Vienna with Mirjam Tschopp. She is currently studying at the Music and Arts Private University of the City of Vienna Baroque violin with Ulrike Engel. Master classes with: Reka Szilvay, Sebastian Müller, John Hollaway, Ulrike Engel, Tango group Los Milonguitas. Hello everyone! I would like to greet each of you and praise your courage in learning a musical instrument. We are all exposed to the age of digitalization and now, more than ever, the real, tangible aspects of the moment are often neglected. That's why I believe that learning how to create art the old-fashioned way can put anyone back in touch with their own self! I completed a bachelor's and master's degree in violin performance with honors in Graz and attended a diploma course for 3 years at the University of Music and Performing Arts in Vienna. In addition to my solo training, I am also regularly active in areas such as chamber music or professional orchestral playing (in orchestras such as the Graz Philharmonic, Recreation Orchestra Graz, Tyrolean Symphony Orchestra Erl, Beethoven Philharmonic, Vienna Jeunesse Orchestra, etc.)

Beginner - Expert Violin! All ages and levels are welcome. I will improve your passagework, intonation, vibrato, sliding, presence, and solidity. I can also encourage musical intuition and imagination for creative students and teach them how to be independent thinkers to achieve awesome musicianship. In my first two years of violin training, I had the opportunity to study the Suzuki method while becoming accustomed to a more traditional style and am therefore versatile and flexible with student's abilities. I have performed as a classical soloist, in chamber groups, and with a full orchestra. Additionally, I have experience in modern popular music and help my students understand the importance of both mental preparation and knowledge on comfortability during their practice time and their performance time.

I provide violin and viola lessons for everyone interested. I am patient and i try to help every student according to their objectives and level. Activities in the lessons will support students learning of the parts of the violin or viola as well as bowing and playing the instrument.

I taught in Sydney for 6 years with 26 lovely students before moving to Austria. My lessons are a mix of what I learned in Europe and Suzuki Austria(Asiom) violin style; which I find very encouraging for younger children who want to feel supported in their musical journey ~ Dr Suzuki's quote that I love is: "Beautiful tone, beautiful heart." ~ Baby Group!
