Music 1 in the HSC can be a tricky topic to wrap your head around sometimes. You may feel that some of the exam questions are too open ended or up for interpretation. I use the classical technique to ensure a solid base, but I respect the wishes of the student regarding the musical style (classical, jazz, pop-rock, songs, film music, etc.), and the 'objective (leisure, accompanying piano, exam preparation, etc.).
