I have over 10 years of tutoring experience. I have tutored 100+ pupils of varying mathematical ability, which has given me a wealth of experience in dealing with the problems pupils have. I have specific experience of UK and International School systems: IB, IGCSE, International A LEVEL etc A large number of my tutees were found through word-of-mouth from former tutees pleased with their results. Every student is an individual and deserves to be treated as such. There is no one size fits all approach that works for everyone so I make sure to really understand how all my students think in order to optimize their learning. I believe that everyone deserves the best chance at school. It does not matter to me if you are a straight A student looking for some insurance, or if you are a bottom set student who has always struggled with maths. All I ask from my tutees is a willingness to learn.
As both children and adult students learn English, the benefit of ESL is that they can communicate with native-speaking friends and family within the community while reaching out to people who communicate only in English. These ELLs can bridge the gap between their families and the rest of the world.
