Math has always been my favorite subject and I enjoy sharing my passion for it with my students. I believe that being patient and approachable is the key to being a great tutor. I have more than 9 years of math tutoring experience (including classroom experience).
Math doesn't have to be hard! Mathematics at its core is about breaking up complex puzzles into smaller pieces and then putting the pieces back together in a more understandable way. Memorizing mathematical formulas don't get students very far. I help students get a deeper understanding of math which helps them grasp new concepts faster. My students have been able to speak math after a couple of tutoring sessions with me!
I tutor concepts from all levels of mathematics including Elementary, Algebra 1, Algebra 2, Geometry, Trigonometry, Statistics, SHSAT, SAT, ACT, GED, Pre-Calculus, and Calculus!
