My ratings on Chess.com and Lichess are approx. 1900. I can help you with a thorough orientation you would need as a beginner. While training, I mainly rely on tactics, practice games, analysis of games and opening theory. I am of course open to discussing any specific queries you may have in order to sharpen your game. I offer both online and face-to-face training. For online training we can use Discord, Skype or Zoom. The training is adapted to the needs of the student. During the lessons, we work together to identify the student's weaknesses and work specifically on them. I was first introduced to chess at the age of 5. At 17 I joined the Düsseldorf Chess Club and at 18 I headed a primary school chess club. I have a Chess.com online Rapid Rating of around 1650, which puts me in the top 2% of rapid chess players on Chess.com. I use a large part of my free time to improve my chess skills by working through books, solving problems, playing games, analyzing them extensively and exchanging ideas with other players. I am a Latvian Candidate Master with an international FIDE rating of 2059 and an English Chess Federation rating of 2120, and an online rating of 2400, reflecting a strong competitive level. I particularly excel in blitz and rapid formats. My greatest competitive achievement is winning 1st place at the English Open Women & Girls Rapid Championship in 2019. I also have over 15 years of experience teaching chess to both juniors and adults.
