2D Animation Filmmaker and Illustrator - Personalised Drawing lessons Are you a beginner artist? Are you nurturing a drawing hobby? Being a professional myself, I know how to help you improve your portfolio or if you are looking for something more hobby-oriented, I can encourage you to take on creative exercises and develop ideas. I aim for my lessons to be engaging and I respect everyone's needs and pace whilst in a learning environment. I offer personalised drawing lessons, where we explore creative exercises and I can help with any challenges you bring to the table. Some of the specific methods and drawing/painting techniques I can share include: - Proportions and Space - Observational Drawing. - Stylised Drawing - Sketchbook exercises/routines - Charcoal, Watercolours, Line Art, Digital Art - 2D Animation techniques I can also give you specific feedback on any current projects you have (school or university-related as well) and mentor your progress. I'm an independent artist, specialising in 2D Animation and Illustration. I'm currently living in Scotland, I'm doing freelance work and I have directed award-winning animation shorts that had their way around the world through film festival tours. I'm originally from Portugal and I moved to the UK for education purposes. I graduated from the University for the Creative Arts, Farnham with a 1st Class BA(Hons) Animation Degree. Would you like to be able to illustrate the worlds and stories you imagine? Do you want to learn how to create characters for a video game, animation, children's story, comic or in any format? Or would you like to be able to draw your favorite characters? If you have those concerns, I would love to help you. I like to focus the classes in such a way that the current drawing level of the student is not what is important. The room for improvement will always evolve. I like to take my classes towards character design, towards general things like the psychology of color and shapes, since they are assimilable and highly useful concepts, independent of the level of drawing. For this reason, my classes are aimed at all ages and drawing levels. I also try to focus them on the preferences and tastes of each student, showing them that everything they like, they like for a reason, that nothing is left to chance and that they can also understand how to make their drawings reflect what they want to convey. Even to create your portfolios or visual information for your own project or story. I give private classes with students from different parts of the world, so many of my classes I have been able to do in both English and French. I studied 2D animation in France, and thanks to this training, my work has been nourished by dynamism, storytelling, expressiveness, typical of this medium, as well as the sensitivity for color and shapes that I usually use to infuse a unique style both to my original designs as well as my fanarts.

I offer to help and guide you in your 2D Animation or Motion Design projects; I can also help you master software such as Animate, After Effects, Photoshop, ToonBoom, or even on tablets with Procreate and Procreate Dreams or Alight Motion! I am also able to encourage you to progress in your relationship with drawing, or even introduce your children to artistic awakening! PS: Regarding the classes, it is also possible to arrange a meeting point halfway, in order to work in a cafe or other coworking space!
