Private online mathematics lessons - Qualified and experienced teacherTranslate this text using Google Translate.

I am a qualified and experienced mathematics tutor. Graduated from the Free University of Brussels in 2011, I started my career by teaching remedial courses in different schools in Brussels. I then specialized in individual academic support by following educational training at the Harvard Graduate School of Education. I have been giving private mathematics lessons daily for over ten years. The students who follow my private lessons benefit from personalized support. The first session is devoted to an in-depth assessment of the student's mathematical knowledge. The objective is to detect its weak points and understand their origin in order to adapt my courses to its needs. I develop a tailor-made remediation program for each of my students aimed at filling each of their gaps. Over the course of the sessions, the student builds a solid foundation for learning and regains self-confidence. At the same time, I help him acquire a work methodology that allows him to gradually become autonomous in his studies. I have a thorough knowledge of the mathematics curriculum for middle and high school (from 6th to 12th grade). I am also qualified to support students in preparing for international exams such as the SAT, the OMPT, and the International Baccalaureate (IB) in all its variations: Analysis and Approaches (AA SL/HL) and Applications and Interpretation (AI SL/HL). Throughout my years of training, I studied and developed numerous techniques that facilitate learning mathematics. The strength of my teaching approach lies in my ability to explain, in simple terms, anything a student finds complicated. I am passionate about this profession because it offers me the opportunity to guide struggling students toward success. It is a true pleasure to see them progress and rediscover their connection with the fascinating world of mathematics. I offer private tutoring in Paris (at the student's home) or remotely (online). My online lessons take place on an interactive whiteboard. This whiteboard is specifically designed to facilitate student/teacher interaction online. Thanks to this teaching tool, my online lessons are just as effective as in-person lessons. The student only needs an internet connection and a computer, tablet, or smartphone to participate.

⭐ Math tutoring – Elementary, middle, and high schoolTranslate this text using Google Translate.

Hello and welcome! 👋 Is your child struggling with math, lacking confidence, or simply looking to consolidate their knowledge? I offer online private math tutoring tailored to elementary, middle, and high school students. 🎯 Each lesson is personalized according to the student's level, difficulties, and objectives. My goal is not only to find the right answer, but above all to enable them to understand the method and gradually become independent. During the sessions, we can work on: understanding the course; school homework and exercises; the difficulties encountered in class; mental arithmetic and the essential basics; fractions, decimal numbers and percentages; geometry; algebra and equations; proportionality and the problems; preparation for tests and exams; upgrading and consolidating acquired skills. 📚 My method: understand → practice → correct → progress I use simple explanations, concrete examples, and exercises of increasing difficulty. When the student makes a mistake, we work together to understand why so that they don't repeat it. For younger children, I can also offer more playful exercises tailored to their interests, in order to maintain their attention and motivation. 💻 100% online course via webcam 🎯 Program tailored to each student ✏️ Personalized exercises 📈 Progress tracking ⏰ Flexible hours 📚 Primary – Middle School – High School Whether it's to catch up on gaps in knowledge, improve results, prepare for a test or get ahead, I adapt to the pace and needs of each student. Please feel free to contact me, indicating the student's grade level, their difficulties, and your objectives. This will allow us to implement a tailored support plan from the very first session. See you soon! 🌟📐 Rayen

Engineering Mathematics (Vector Calculus, Laplace Transforms, Differential Equations, Complex Integration)Translate this text using Google Translate.

Engineering Mathematics (Vector Calculus, Laplace Transforms, Differential Equations, Complex Integration)Translate this text using Google Translate.

I hold a PhD in Mechanical Engineering and currently work as a post-doctoral researcher in the Aerospace Engineering Faculty at TU Delft (Delft University of Technology). Key topics that I teach for this course include: • Calculus: Differentiation & integration, Multivariable calculus • Linear Algebra: Matrices, vectors, systems of equations, Eigenvalues and eigenvectors • Differential Equations: First- and second-order ODEs, Laplace transforms • Complex Numbers: Polar form, Euler’s formula • Vector Calculus: Gradient, divergence, curl, Line and surface integrals • Series & Transforms: Taylor series, Fourier series I understand that not all teachers excel in teaching Engineering and Mathematics courses and explaining their importance to students. Courses with strong mathematical backgrounds may become boring for students who lack a solid mathematical basis. To address this, I take a student-centered approach, starting from the basics to actively engage all students, including those with weaker mathematical backgrounds. I also provide practical examples to demonstrate the real-world significance of what they are learning, inspiring and fostering their interest in the subject matter. If you have any additional questions before starting a class, please feel free to ask me. I am here to assist! :)

Mathematical support of excellence – French high school & missionTranslate this text using Google Translate.

Mathematical support of excellence – French high school & missionTranslate this text using Google Translate.

As a teaching professional, I have always enjoyed sharing my knowledge. My goal is to provide quality education. I am aware that some topics may seem complex, but often this is simply the result of an inadequate explanation by the teacher. With me, you will discover a real interest in the material! We strive together to achieve academic excellence, overcoming the shortcomings and difficulties encountered by your child. Studies will become a pleasant experience for him. In addition to the courses, I can also help with school orientation, identifying their preferences and highlighting the advantages and benefits of a fulfilling educational ambition. The sessions generally take place according to the following stages: 1️⃣ The first sessions are devoted to the assessment of the student's level in order to detect existing gaps. 2️⃣ Next, we create a personalized plan to address these gaps, including the number of hours of work needed, specific areas to focus on, and appropriate training and development exercises. 3️⃣ We stay in constant contact with the student's class teacher, to keep up to date with the latest requirements and ensure a consistent approach. 4️⃣ Subsequently, I provide exams similar to those that are likely to be asked in class, to prepare the student effectively. 5️⃣ Upon request, I write a regular report, usually monthly, to keep parents informed of their child's progress throughout their course. I adapt my methodology according to the specific needs of each student, thus offering them a personalized and adapted work approach. In addition, I offer crash courses for students preparing for the start of the school year, allowing them to start the year well prepared, with a solid lead on the school curriculum. If you have any questions, do not hesitate to contact me. I will be happy to help you.

IB MATH AA HL 6-7 Mastery: Personalized strategy to score higher. | 45/45 Graduate, Math AAHL 7/7Translate this text using Google Translate.

I graduated with a perfect 45/45 in the IB Diploma and achieved a 7/7 in Mathematics AA HL. I have over 3 years of experience teaching. In this class, I’ll share the strategies, techniques, and problem-solving approaches that helped me achieve those results. This class is focused on more than simply reviewing the syllabus. We will focus on how to approach IB questions, maximize marks, and consistently perform at a 6–7 level. What we will focus on - How to approach difficult and unfamiliar IB-style questions - Strategies for moving from a 5 to a 6 or from a 6 to a 7 - How to identify what a question is really testing - How to structure solutions to maximize method and follow-through marks - Efficient use of the GDC and formula booklet - Time-management strategies for Papers 1, 2, and 3 - Common mistakes that cost students valuable marks - Challenging 6–7 level IB-style problems - How to analyze mistakes and turn weaknesses into marks - How to approach a problem when you do not immediately know how to solve it We will work through challenging IB-style questions step by step, focusing not only on what the solution is, but why the approach works and how you can recognize similar problems in an exam. Whether you are currently working toward a 6, trying to push from a 6 to a 7, or simply want to become significantly stronger at Mathematics AA HL, this class will give you a clear and practical strategy for maximizing your exam performance. The goal is not just to know more mathematics. It is to know how to turn what you know into marks.

Private lessons for (I)GCSE math tutoring and/or easy contest problems for 7-12th gradersTranslate this text using Google Translate.

Mathematics is the best way to enhance your intellect, create bridges between abstract and reality and find the hidden beauty of life. Good day, my name is Mike. I'm studying at Shanghai University and I've had the privilege of helping over many peers and other students for 3 years. As an experienced teacher, most of my friends and peers believe that I have been doing quite well. This course is mainly focused on GCSE tutoring, yet math problems from other legal sources may also be accepted. By the way, the language for classes is English. Before you go any further, let me introduce myself. I come from Shanghai, China. I got 138(A+) out of 150 in English GaoKao. I have no problem in English communication at all and ranked top 0.1% in the English contest for senior high school students in Shanghai. Besides, I self-taught myself plane geometry(PG) for just 50 days from scratch and surprisingly aced the entire PG part in the preliminary contest of the CMO. My methodology is as follows: 1. I can show the definitions/examples of a certain type of problems to you. 2. I offer you some similar problems for training and revision in class, then I analyze them. 3. I don't give homework every time, yet I might offer you some interesting problems to solve or valuable facts to know, as your interest and ability in self-directed inquiry is quite important, whose importance grows as you go on with your academic journey. 4. If you wish to bring your own problems and ask about them first, that's okay. N.B. Please double-check which examination institution you have chosen and inform me(e.g. AQA, Edexcel and so on). My approach combines teaching and mentoring, taking a holistic approach to ensure improvements in all aspects of a student's development. I am patient and adaptable to the needs of each student. I adapt my teaching style to fit each student’s unique needs, helping them build the confidence and resilience necessary to succeed both inside and outside the classroom. Through my own experiences of overcoming obstacles and achieving success, I’m passionate about helping others do the same. Let’s work together to ensure you reach your full potential, both academically and personally! So be free to book my classes and look forward to carving a niche for yourself in your life journey!

My daughter had private tutoring for the Physics CCVX exam with Bibek, and we are extremely pleased with the experience. Bibek is a very knowledgeable, patient, and understanding tutor who truly focuses on the individual needs of the student. He adapts his teaching methods according to the student’s level and learning style, which helped my daughter gain confidence and improve her understanding of difficult concepts. Bibek was highly motivating and supportive throughout the process, encouraging her to stay focused and positive even under pressure. My daughter had a very tight deadline to pass the exam, and Bibek handled this challenge with excellent organisation and clear planning. He structured the lessons efficiently, prioritised key topics, and ensured that time was used effectively. Thanks to his guidance and dedication, my daughter was able to achieve her goal within a limited timeframe. Bibek demonstrates all the important qualities of a great tutor: strong subject knowledge, adaptability, clear communication, motivation, organisation, and genuine commitment to the student’s success. I would highly recommend him to any student looking for high-quality physics tutoring.

Baia was instrumental in helping my daughter prepare for the OMPT-F exam. From the very first lesson, she was organized, knowledgeable, and focused on the areas that mattered most for success on the test. What sets Baia apart is her ability to explain complex mathematical concepts in a simple, structured way while building confidence at the same time. Her engineering background gives her a deep understanding of mathematics and allows her to explain not only how to solve problems, but also why the concepts work. She provided targeted practice materials, mock exams, and clear guidance on the key topics that carried the highest impact. Baia was always responsive to questions between lessons and consistently went above and beyond to ensure my daughter was fully prepared. Thanks to her support, my daughter developed a much stronger understanding of mathematics and a more positive attitude toward the subject. She now approaches challenging problems with far more confidence than before. I highly recommend Baia to anyone preparing for the OMPT exams, university mathematics, or looking for a patient, knowledgeable, and highly effective math tutor.

Benoit is friendly and patient and has a good sense of when to challenge and when to take a step back. My son, who is 8, really likes his lessons very much. He loves math, especially working with big numbers, and at school it isn't always possible to work on calculations as he would like. After few lessons he already learned new techniques for calculations he likes to experiment with and Benoit also managed to challenge him to try some new and more advanced things. I think this type of lessons is more tricky to prepare, at least until the teacher gets to know well the capacities and character of the child, as there are not based on the child's curriculum or homework to be done. Benoit is always open to discussion and if my son finds something too challenging, they take a step back and try another way or just agree to try another time when my son feels ready for it.

To ensure the quality of our Math teachers, we ask our students to review them.

Only reviews of students are published and they are guaranteed by Apprentus. Rated 4.9 out of 5 based on 366 reviews.
