This is a class that focuses on the Basics uses for Photoshop, including: Canvas preparation, File size, canvas sizing, color formatting, lighting and color adjustments, smart tools, selection tools, masking tools, filters, saving options and management. There is also a section of the class dedicated to Text boxes.

Drawing, sculpture and modeling classes - Applied Arts. Contemporary Art Description As an applied arts instructor, I offer drawing, sculpture and modeling courses adapted to the level, pace and objectives of each student. Through a progressive and creative approach, you will learn to observe, develop your sense of shape, volume, and proportion, and master various artistic techniques. The sessions allow you to acquire a solid foundation while developing your own personal style. The courses may cover topics such as: observational drawing, proportions, perspective, shadows and light; composition and creative research; sculpture and three-dimensional construction; the shaping and working of the material; the development of a personal artistic project; preparing a portfolio or competition entry in applied arts. These courses are suitable for beginners as well as more experienced students, whether they wish to discover a new practice, refine their technique, or receive guidance on a project. My teaching is supportive, personalized, and focused on experimentation, creativity, and progress.

In this class, the discussions will be very different per individual and what they want to achieve out of this course. For some, that may be finding a consistent art style that feels right to them, or maybe they need to find a simplified style for their comics or animations. Maybe they love their style, but something feels wrong, or they need direction on how to advance their skills. I can give insight to all of it! I specialize in using Clip Studio Paint, though I've dabbled in Procreate and many physical mediums. However, the medium will only be important in the case that the student requests information on how to achieve a certain look to their art via tools and not skillset. (ex: how to tween on CSP)

With major camera brands shifting their product focus to accessibility within the last few years, now more then ever is the perfect time to learn the craft of Digital photography. This class will be the foundation for all the knowlage and skill you will need to purchase, use, and master using a digital camera in 2025. We will go over the basics including grammar and vocabulary slowly developing a strong lexicon of photgraphy terms. Also covered will be the basic operation of the camera as well as going over the many different functions and buttons that will be used to take pictures. Included in this will be the different kinds of camera types, lens types, camera brands, and what might be the best fit for the student We will also cover the different ways and types of photography including sports, portraits, travel, and product photography and how to better refine certain skills to be used in these fields. By the end of the classes the student will be able to name and easily operate all the different buttons and functions on the camera as well as cultivating an introductory body of work to be shown to others, as well as having a deep knowledge and understanding of cameras, brands, and how to hone their skills as a digital artisan.
