For any singing practice, whether variety singing (pop, rock) or opera singing, part of the singing course should ideally incorporate practical work on technique and vocal anatomy. I therefore propose to start by warming up the body and the voice, which allows you to connect to yourself, to your breath. Gradually, the intensity rises, we are therefore heated, and we can then approach the pieces that the student wishes to learn. Vocalization is for me a moment with oneself, a kind of mindfulness meditation. Singing causes a very enjoyable inner vibration. Sometimes I like to start with music that inspires the student and build technical work through that. My lessons contain a "music theory" part that I adapt according to the needs and desires of each student. The more the student is aware of his body and his breath, the more he will have control of his voice, and therefore, always more joy!
