Jazz Piano Teacher and Composer based in Barcelona: Expert Lessons Available Online.Translate this text using Google Translate.

Jazz Piano Teacher and Composer based in Barcelona: Expert Lessons Available Online.Translate this text using Google Translate.

Piano lessons in Jazz, Classical, or Modern styles; depending on the student's interest, we can mix a bit of everything or delve deep into one style. Main focus applied to overcome the problem of piano: mastering two-handed rhythm. To achieve this, I teach left-hand grooves and foundations while working on improvisation, harmony, melodies, accompaniments, and everything there is to play with the right hand. I introduce piano techniques such as walking bass, tenths, stride, drop 2, and more. From my experience, rhythm, "Groove", and the connection with the music in the moment it is being played are the most challenging aspects to learn and integrate. Thus, I give significant emphasis to these topics in my sessions, especially those aimed at playing polyrhythmic instruments such as the piano. I cover compositional tools, approaching Jazz Standards, accompaniment techniques, improvisation methods for any instrument, Blues tools, methods to strengthen the relationship with the instrument, analysis, and listening skills. I also teach classical piano for those interested, and offer specific training in rhythm and percussion. I am fully committed to my students. With over 12 years of experience in music education, both in individual and group settings, I have a good rapport with boys and girls. Feel free to reach out, my friend! Long live music.

PIANO LESSONS. Highly experienced teacher: certified piano teacher, musicologist, studied composition and general health psychologist.Translate this text using Google Translate.

QUALIFIED PIANO TEACHER. Higher degree in music specializing in Musicology, advanced studies in Composition, degree in Psychology and master's degree in general health psychology. I've always been interested in the field of study methodology, focusing on effectiveness: just as there must be progress in the student's abilities, there must also be progress in the learning method. Furthermore, given my experience, and as a psychologist, I know that every student's most important tool is their mind: I try to help them develop new perspectives, encourage visualization and imagination... all of this is very helpful. I propose that you learn piano in a FAST, EFFECTIVE, and ENJOYABLE way. This, among other objectives, will help you: -Superfluous and redundant elements will be eliminated from the learning process. -We will be more positive and foster confidence in our own abilities. -We will only use repetition as a study method when absolutely necessary. It often leads to psychological strain. -We will encourage curiosity, so that studying the piano is associated with something enjoyable. -We will reflect on our pianistic interpretation, on the one we want to have and on the best way to achieve it. -We will reflect on the fingering to be used (it conditions the comfort of the performer at all times). -We will encourage imagination and musical introspection (and its great potential when it comes to learning). -We will promote relaxation.

Singing, Piano and/or Solfège lessons (at your home or online)Translate this text using Google Translate.

CLASSES IN SPANISH, CATALAN, FRANÇAIS, DEUTSCH, ENGLISH I teach singing, piano, music awareness/introduction and solfège. I live in Madrid and I'm a student pursuing a higher degree in singing (jazz and contemporary music). I dedicate a good part of my time to teaching (music and language) through private online or in-person lessons. I started giving private lessons to children at their homes when I lived in Germany. During the 2022-2023 academic year, I taught piano to students of all ages at the RedMusik Music School (Igualada, Catalonia). I studied piano and other instruments for over 15 years at the UGDA and the Luxembourg City Conservatory. After many years of solfège and piano, I obtained the Conservatory's "Première Mention" certificate with the highest possible grade, "Très Bien". A good music lesson should include not only technique and reading sheet music, but also theoretical and harmonic study, improvisation, recreational playing with the instrument, and ear training and rhythm exercises. I am interested in designing the lesson creatively and adapting it to the needs and desires of the student. I hope I can encourage you to move forward with your musical learning, and if that's the case, don't hesitate to write to me with any questions you may have :) See you soon! Aurélie

*North Madrid based* I'm Aoife (Ifa), an infant & primary school teacher from Ireland, currently working in a private British school in Chamartín. As a teacher, I am enthusiastic, adaptable and dedicated to delivering the highest quality of learning. I target lessons to ensure each student’s needs and wants are being met, whilst ensuring enjoyment and interest. I speak Spanish & English, so don’t worry if you are nervous about your child’s language level. For 20 years, I trained as a classical pianist with the Royal Irish Academy of Music. Yearly, I achieved high marks as evidenced below in my transcripts. I am extremely skilled in playing various genres of piano as well as musical theory. I have taught private piano 1:1 lessons for 5 years, although for enjoyment, not classically. Conditions: - For student comfort, I can travel to your location after 5pm each evening. - Lessons are 45 minutes due to the fact that 1-hour exhausts the learning process and decreases attention, concentration and enjoyment for children. - To maintain and develop new skills, children should play the piano independently between lessons. - I will teach musical theory (reading music, rhythm, how songs are composed), musical literacy (musical chords/ scales, exercises) and songs (sight-reading, songs chosen by student) according to each student’s ability.

Hello! I am Adrià Acker, pianist, composer, music producer, and director of a new music school located on Ricardo Ortiz Street. I teach classical and modern piano, as well as music composition and production. I am a professional musician with a Master's degree in Original Soundtrack Production, a Higher Degree in Classical Composition (Leeds Conservatoire) and a Professional Conservatory Diploma in Piano from the Royal School in London. I work professionally as a musician, composing film scores. In 2024, I was nominated for a Goya Award for Best Original Score and have received numerous international awards. I also produce artists of various styles and develop my own musical project in my studio in Madrid. In the teaching field, I teach classes at my academy, located on Ricardo Ortiz Street, where my professional studio is also located. The entire teaching team has advanced conservatory training and extensive experience in both teaching and performance at the national and international level. With over 8 years of experience as a teacher, I currently teach more than 130 classes per month. My method is completely personalized, adapted to each student's pace and goals. We work on the three fundamental pillars: technique, reading, and theory, along with your favorite songs, so that each class is motivating, practical, and musically enriching. If you've always wanted to dedicate yourself to music, improve your technique, compose your own songs, improve your piano virtuosity, or simply take your first steps with the piano, I invite you to try a class. What are you waiting for to start your musical journey?

Sanja is fantastic! Her attitude towards how she teaches is refreshing as she let's her students, and actively encourages, making a song their own. I organised this for my fiancée as a surprise birthday present and she absolutely loved the experience! She is a very visual learner so the worksheets that Sanja had prepared were perfect, despite being aimed at kids, they worked wonders for her! I was allowed to sit close by too so I could enjoy the whole experience which was lovely. Thank you so much!! And we have already organised the next lesson.

We have now completed two composition lessons, and so far, the experience has been excellent. The teacher is highly skilled and creates a supportive learning environment. We are very pleased with the progress and look forward to continuing our lessons. Highly recommended!

Maricielo is an excellent math teacher who explains complex concepts in a clear and approachable way. Her lessons are well-structured, engaging, and encourage active participation. She is patient, supportive, and makes sure I feel confident in understanding the material.
