Experienced teacher of Meditation, Breathing & Somatic Relaxation for Adults - Personalized sessions in Brussels & Walloon BrabantTranslate this text using Google Translate.

Experienced teacher of Meditation, Breathing & Somatic Relaxation for Adults - Personalized sessions in Brussels & Walloon BrabantTranslate this text using Google Translate.

I teach meditation, breathwork, and somatic relaxation through a structured and deeply human approach. My sessions are designed for beginner or intermediate adults who wish to reduce stress, improve their sleep, alleviate anxiety, or simply reconnect with a more stable and centered presence in their daily lives. I combine practices primarily from Hatha and Kundalini Yoga, along with more contemplative and somatic approaches, to offer a comprehensive experience: mindfulness meditations, concentration exercises, transcendence techniques, balancing or energizing breathing, body scans, and somatic relaxations. A class always begins with an assessment of the current need: fatigue, mental strain, emotional tension, or a search for clarity. Then, I adapt the techniques accordingly, whether it's to soothe the nervous system, strengthen grounding, develop concentration, or support more refined emotional regulation. The sessions can also take on a more introspective or spiritual dimension when the person feels ready. With over twelve years of experience and 800 hours of certified training, I primarily work with professionals and parents experiencing overload, burnout, insomnia, overwork, or personal transitions. My approach remains accessible, non-dogmatic, and resolutely practical: the goal is to offer a safe, tailored, and truly transformative space, whether individually or in small groups.

Meditation for Makers and Performers: Mental Clarity Techniques from Creative PracticeTranslate this text using Google Translate.

Meditation for Makers and Performers: Mental Clarity Techniques from Creative PracticeTranslate this text using Google Translate.

Most meditation classes teach you to sit still and empty your mind. That's not what this is. This class teaches meditation as a creative tool — specifically for people who make things, perform, build, and think for a living. The techniques here come from insight and manifestation practices, but I teach them through the lens of creative and technical work: how to enter a flow state deliberately, how to move through creative blocks, how to perform under pressure without freezing, and how to separate signal from noise when you're deep in a project. I've been practicing these techniques for years alongside live performance work — combining biofeedback, live electronic music, and real-time visual systems in front of audiences. The overlap between meditation and performance is not metaphorical. Attention control, state management, and intentional focus are literal performance skills. I teach them that way. What you'll learn: Insight meditation: how to observe your own thought patterns without getting caught in them — essential for debugging creative blocks Manifestation as a design tool: using structured visualisation to clarify what you're actually trying to build or create before you start Breath and body-state techniques for entering deep focus on demand How to use these practices before a performance, a difficult meeting, a creative session, or a period of intense output Building a personal practice that fits around an irregular, project-driven life — not a 6am routine designed for someone else Who this is for: Makers, developers, designers, musicians, performers, founders, and anyone whose work requires sustained creative attention. People who've tried meditation apps and found them too passive or too generic. People who want practical tools, not spirituality. Not for: People looking for traditional mindfulness or religious practice. This is applied technique. Taught in: English (Dutch available) Format: 1-on-1, we start from where you are and build a practice around your actual working life You'll need: Nothing. Just show up.

Move better, breathe better, live better: discover the Alexander TechniqueTranslate this text using Google Translate.

Move better, breathe better, live better: discover the Alexander TechniqueTranslate this text using Google Translate.

I help my students overcome chronic pain, reduce stress, and improve their posture and overall well-being using the Alexander Technique. During an Alexander class, we'll focus on your overall coordination in movements like sitting and getting up from a chair, walking, and carrying objects. You'll also be offered work lying down on a table. This allows you to avoid having to manage your balance and facilitates the process of letting go. The Alexander Technique can help you: - The fluidity of your movements - Improving your posture - Reduction of back pain - Relief from joint pain - Management of Musculoskeletal Disorders (MSDs) - Reduction of the stress response - Prevention and recovery from burnout The Alexander Technique was developed in the early 20th century by Frederick Matthias Alexander, an Australian actor who suffered from repeated hoarseness. Doctors could not find a clear medical diagnosis, so he decided to find out for himself where his problems stemmed from. He realized he had bad habits in his recitation by carefully observing himself in mirrors. After years of observation, he developed a technique to regain control over his coordination habits. He was able to change what he called his self-use. This discovery shed light on the influence of self-use on the proper functioning of the body and even on our structure.

I had my first 90 minute Yoga lesson with Gaurav and it was exactly what i was looking for. He teached me the basic postures included breathing and chanting with a holistic approach. I really felt it was customized to my needs and personalized although online i felt the time flew by and he was carefully observing and teaching me. Very good energy and flow between the sequences. I can only recommend his class and will look forward working with him on my practice.

I had a great first lesson with Briana. She is patient, professional, and very encouraging. She let me speak freely before correcting my mistakes, which really helped me feel more confident. The lesson was well organized and focused on my personal goals. I highly recommend her to anyone who wants to improve their English in a supportive and relaxed environment.

Komal really helped me with my lessons, she adapted to my rhythm. I really needed a lot of help and thankfully she helped me and I passed my exam. She is a great tutor and would be a great teacher, I really recommend to have as your tutor. I am so thankful to have met her she is a wonderful person and very kind, I can’t thank her enough... thank you Komal.
