I offer private Dutch lessons for students from 1st grade of elementary school to 5th grade of secondary school, with a pedagogical approach tailored to each student. My goal is to ensure a thorough understanding of the material, so that each student masters the essential rules and skills in Dutch. I base my lessons on the exercise books, homework, and lessons provided by the school, ensuring consistency with the school curriculum and optimizing the effectiveness of the private lesson. We focus directly on what the student needs to master, while taking the time to review the basics if necessary. Additionally, I offer specific help for exam or assignment preparation. Whether it’s final exams, midterm tests, or projects to be submitted, I am here to guide the student in their preparation and give them the best chance of success.

I offer Dutch lessons adapted to beginners as well as to people who already have some basic knowledge. I have a B2 level in Dutch, validated by a certificate of achievement, which allows me to teach the language in a clear, structured and accessible way. The goal is to make learning simple, progressive and motivating, by advancing step by step on the essential basics of the language. Each course is structured around: - useful everyday vocabulary - Grammar explained simply - basic conjugation - oral and written comprehension - Conversation exercises to quickly gain fluency I adapt to the pace and objectives of each student (school, work or personal learning), in a relaxed and encouraging atmosphere. Prepare in an efficient, intensive way for the ITNA (Interuniversity Language Test Dutch), based on tailor-made exercises. We practice together on language in use, grammar and vocabulary, gap texts, structuring exercises, dictation, presentations and argumentation. I use several methods which are specially conceived to teach Dutch to people who have a different mother tongue. I really like to use methods out of the ordinary like role games or methods with which you learn while playing. All these adapted to the student's situation of course. As I learned myself a couple of other languages, it is easy for me to detect difficulties a student can encounter and adapt the way of learning. I can teach in English, French, German and Russian.

For several years, I have been teaching Dutch in a language centre, during school holidays, to high school students who have difficulties with this language. I help them improve grammar, spelling, conjugation, conversation, pronunciation as well as reading and listening comprehension. I also give lessons throughout the year at my home (from 3rd grade primary school until the end of secondary school).
