All for a very reasonable price? We can do it! Nice to meet you, I'm Daniel. I'm a (private) art teacher, I'm also a freelance artist and have been working as one for about 7 years. I'm looking for students in Utrecht, I have a teaching space available in my apartment (I can share my address when you contact me), but am also able to travel to your desired space within the city. I can also teach via webcam, but I do recommend my in-person classes, seeing as they're more immersive and educational. Artistic experimentation is an integral part of exploring oneself and the surrounding environment. This programme has been carefully curated alongside young artists over the course of six years and integrates different forms of visual expression such as : sculpture, installation, performance, drawing, painting and many more. We explore unexpected parallels in art history and visual techniques, building up a wide range of artistic references and technical knowledge in a playful environment in order to explore the sensitivity of our own bodies, thoughts and the world around us. Although the programme is compiled both with genre, technique and art history in mind, there is always space for adaptation according to the preferences and visual tastes of the student.

Spoken word is a performing art between poetry and performance, leaving reason behind and discovering your creativity. I would love to teach you how to write poetry and spoken word pieces. First of all, we zoom in on the content: how do you translate your experiences, opinions, stories to paper, how do you go from idea to piece, and which writing techniques help you write? And we mainly get to work with fun assignments. From the content point of view, we then look at performance: how do you recite a piece, and how does it support what you want to say.

The book “Delftse Foundations of Computation” especially its second chapter will be the main source of our lesson, but other more in-depth books will be also covered if you want to improve even further on logical thinking.
