Videoconference preparation for the Swiss supplementary examination (ECUS) and first-year mathematics at EPFL. The ECUS is not a school exam. It's an entrance exam, with a specific syllabus, a set format, and a time constraint that eliminates perfectly competent candidates. Preparation, therefore, doesn't consist of reviewing course material, but of rebuilding a foundation and practicing in the actual exam format. Master's degree in Operations Research (applied mathematics), more than five years of private tutoring, including mentoring foreign students preparing for their entry into the Swiss system. What I cover ECUS — comprehensive mathematics program, practice with sample exams, time management EPFL's Special Mathematics Course (CMS) Refresher courses before the first year of university or college: analysis, linear algebra, probability Refresher courses for candidates who have been out of the school system for several years Method An initial assessment is conducted to determine the student's actual level in relation to the exam requirements, followed by a detailed study plan: number of hours needed, priority chapters, and a timeline leading up to the exam date. Each session combines targeted review of theoretical material with practice exercises in the exam format. I work with candidates who are starting from scratch as well as with students who want to secure their first year.

Have you always dreamed of learning the cello, or do you wish to resume playing after several years of break? I am a professional cellist, a graduate of the Geneva University of Music in performance and music pedagogy. I currently teach in several schools in Switzerland, including EMVR and Aiglon College, and I perform regularly in concert in Switzerland and abroad. I teach cello to children, teenagers, and adults in a supportive, motivating, and pressure-free atmosphere. Lessons are fully tailored to each student's level, goals, and pace, whether you're a complete beginner or a more advanced musician. I also accompany many adults who are starting the cello for the first time, sometimes after the age of 40 or 50, as well as people who are returning to the instrument after a long break. No prior experience is necessary, and it is not required to be able to read music at the beginning. My primary goal is for each student to enjoy playing, develop a positive relationship with music, and progress with confidence. Courses available in French, Spanish or English.
