My name is Kim. I am a classically trained teacher (BA in Music) from England with over 15 years of experience in private teaching and as an internationally touring musician. I offer private piano lessons for all ages in English (and with basic German skills) in my studio in Arta or at your home. I travel throughout the island. Beginners to advanced players. I tailor the lessons to your individual needs and help you achieve your personal goals. This includes preparing for exams as well as playing for personal enjoyment or in front of an audience. I always incorporate my students' musical preferences into my lessons, as this motivates them to practice the music that truly inspires them. I teach both classical and some modern styles (jazz, blues, pop, rock, etc.). I teach my students how to approach the piano, read music, improvise, and play by ear. Personalized comprehensive yoga classes, tailored to the needs of each person. For those who are just beginning the path of yoga and do not dare to take the first step, I teach yoga initiation classes where we will start from the base such as conscious breathing techniques, entry and exit of each posture, basic vinyasas such as Surya Namaskar ( sun salutations) and how to start acquiring the habit of meditating. For those who already have a little more experience and want to start going a little deeper, we can work on asana variants, sequences and transitions between postures, add a little deeper pranayama techniques, as well as we can begin to go deeper into different yoga techniques. meditation, and thus be able to find your own Sadhana.
