Each student has their own way of understanding and reasoning; my role is to identify the one that will allow them to progress effectively. During my studies, I had the opportunity to mentor a blind student in her biology courses for a year. This experience convinced me that effective teaching relies primarily on the teacher's ability to adapt to their student, and not the other way around. The first session is devoted to an educational assessment: * assessment of the student's level in the chosen subjects; * identification of its strengths, its difficulties and its way of approaching scientific problems; * discussion on its objectives in order to develop a personalized work program, presented to the student and, if necessary, to his or her parents or legal representative. I offer courses from middle school up to Bac+5 level in cell and molecular biology as well as in biotechnology, and up to Bac+3 level in biochemistry, enzymology and biostatistics.
