- My name is Mariana. I am originally from Portugal and currently living in Luxembourg.
- I hold a Bachelor’s and a Master’s degree in Biomedical Engineering.
- I have strong mastery of math, chemistry, and physics.
- I have experience tutoring students between 10 and 18 years old.
- As someone who has studied her whole life, I’ve found that making the most of available technologies is one of the most effective pedagogical methods, as it gives classes a much more dynamic flow and helps create mnemonic tools to remember concepts in the future. I enjoy using platforms such as Genially, Mentimeter, and others.
- I am flexible with tutoring schedules. For example, if a student has a test the following week, I can make time for extra lessons (including weekends and holidays).
- I am fun and energetic, and I like to bring those vibes into learning.
- Although Portuguese is my native language, I speak business‐fluent English.
