Spanish course - immersive method - language, cinema, literature, travel, culture.Translate this text using Google Translate.

Teacher of languages with students of different ages and levels in Canada, Spain, Panama and France, I organized and conducted language and culture classes, as well as oral and written communication workshops in Spanish and in English. One of my main goals has always been to create an atmosphere of cultural immersion in my classes. Learning a language is for me a creative process of communication and cooperation that requires each student to play an active role in the simultaneous development of their production skills and oral and written comprehension. My teaching method is based on the accomplishment of specific tasks using narration, active listening, critical reading and creative expression. I also promote activities that involve improvisation, production of audio-visual materials and different types of games to motivate students and encourage creativity and teamwork. Each of my courses is organized around different notions (time, place, relationship, quantity, quality, etc.) and functions (questions, requests, offers, negotiations, etc.). The learning activities are thus centered on the obtaining linguistic and cultural skills, a pragmatic approach to language use and a set of original resources that can be modified or expanded as needed.

Think deep and have fun learning English in Leognan / BordeauxTranslate this text using Google Translate.

How long did you spend studying Shakespeare's language, and ultimately, how satisfied are you with the way you communicate in English? Do you use Anglo-Saxon idioms naturally? Do you self-correct easily, or do you repeat, always, the same mistakes? Years of research and practice as a teacher and professional translator have shown me that these questions touch on the most powerful barriers to learning English. The impossibility of overcoming the difficulties that everyone encounters inevitably when learning a language results in a feeling of demotivating stagnation. This is what prevents most of us from moving forward, from getting to the next level, from having the ability to communicate in English, but that's not inevitable! It is now recognized that, more than mathematics, for example, learning a language primarily involves a form of intelligence called emotional (it is called logic for maths). We often talk about "appropriating" a language, making it a "personal expression", expressing its "own style". This vocabulary reflects the need for a positive relationship between the student's personality and that of his teacher, other students, and also with Anglophones and Anglo-Saxon culture in general. In parallel with the strictly linguistic study, the exploration of the deep and playful side of English, based on its great musicality, generates more satisfactions than frustrations. This work is at the heart of my method. Whether the classes take place in a formal or informal setting according to the wishes of the students, the goal is to cultivate a taste for effort while having fun. I offer you two options to reverse the trend: come improve your practice with an intensive course, a lunch in town (which will force you to communicate effectively, assimilate current vocabulary, in particular) or continue in-depth work with courses weekly individual or collective. Each course presents new written, audio and video materials, a reactivation of the grammar and vocabulary covered in the previous course, follow-up by email, possible interactions with other students face-to-face or via website, etc. My experience has proven to me that this form of learning, inspired by “blended learning”, proves to be very effective, as it mixes sources and supports. He is gaining more and more followers all over the world. So join us and become a real English speaker! I am looking forward to meeting you.
