The way I teach actually depends entirely on the student. The way I explain the concepts, plan and structure the lessons and approach each subject all depends on whether the student is a beginner, intermediate or advanced, and whether he or she has some experience on the subject. Each student has different needs and different abilities. It's just a matter of getting to know the student, in order to identify both the weaknesses and strengths on which to work.

I teach singer-songwriter lessons in Utrecht. Ages 10 and up. You don't have to be able to do anything yet. You don't have to be able to play an instrument yourself. During the lessons we work on writing lyrics, vocal technique and performance. You can get acquainted with different instruments. There are different types of lessons possible: 1. You want to develop your writing talent in a small group - 1 hour per week with a presentation of your work every six months. (Maximum 4 people per group - Minimum 2 people) 2. You want to write a song for a special occasion in a short time - 4-hour workshop 3. You want to fine-tune the songs you've already written with your band and/or work on performance 4. You want private lessons Band coaching and workshops in consultation, just click on 1 hour and we will plan the rest. I can do some simple recording myself, but I have good connections with other musicians and sound engineers for a complete end product.

This class is most suitable for you: If you are willing to get into Electronic Music Production. You are interested in Techno, Tech House, Melodic Techno. You are a listener and have basic knowledge about electronic music. You already started making music on Ableton Live, but you couldn't actually finish a track yet. You already produce on different DAW's but want to learn how Ableton Live Works. You already released tracks and willing to further enhance your knowledge about both Ableton Live and Electronic Music Scene in general. You just want a couple of sessions to get professional feedback and advice about your work.

Hi! I am a composer and music producer with a master degree in Music & Technology from HKU. I teach music theory and (optionally) piano technique to aspiring songwriters, music producers, composers, and anyone else who's curious. My lessons are tailored to what fascinates you in music. In the first few lessons we will focus on foundations of music theory and technique, so that soon you will be ready to learn songs of your choice and understand them from a music theory standpoint. You will also learn how to apply theory concepts creatively in composition and improvisation. Besides in-person lessons, you will have access to all my materials. These include carefully prepared slides, exercises, sheet music, explanatory videos and worksheets that you can use to track your progress on technique exercises. Lessons are open to beginner and intermediate musicians of all ages. Lessons at home are possible if you live in Utrecht. I also teach online lessons.

Hi, my name is Jeremy and I've played music for 19 years, having performed over 200 concerts and composed with a wide variety of groups and ensembles across England and Belgium in many genres (Funk, R&B, Soul, Jazz, Rock, Alternative, Punk and more). I have completed 3 years of intensive bass study at the Royal Conservatory of Brussels and am currently playing bass plus backing-vocals and song arrangement for Kids of the Elephant and Arrubio. In these lessons, I will help you reach your goals while having fun in the process, keeping the lessons structured and tailored to your personal needs. I have 5 years of experience helping students improve as well as specialist knowledge in a multitude of styles. Some examples of what you might learn include: - Correct hand positioning & posture for best performance and faster learning. - Learning your favorite songs quickly and easily. - Breaking down rhythms & dynamics - Understanding the role of bass playing in a band. - Understanding what makes a good bassline and composing your own. - Essential music theory for bass & more advanced techniques (eg: melodic techniques, rhythmic, slap bass, etc) - How to improvise, jam and play with other musicians.
