About Me

My name is Lorenzo and I am an Italian mathematician.

I have been a university lecturer of maths at the Department of Pharmacology of the University of Rome Sapienza for 4 academic years, until January 2025, running and assessing classes of over 50 undergraduates and holding courses taught both in Italian and in English language.
I have recently -November 2025 - achieved a PGCert in Higher Education and the acknowledge of the Worldwide Recognised Tutor Status from the University of London.

I have strong familiarity with UK curriculum, which I mostly acquired by working with British students during my tutoring experience over the past three years on Gostudent.org. On that platform, I have helped several students to face their AQA and Edexcel A-level maths exam test.

I worked at the international school EUISC - Cambridge school of Rome - for one term (Sept-Dec 2024) as a teacher of maths and physics, running classes of 16-17 years old students and strictly following the UK Cambridge curriculum for their IGCSE final exam. All such lessons were fully taught in English language.

Also, I have been working as a freelance private tutor of maths and physics in Italy for approximately 20 years, preparing students and undergraduates to face their university admission test or university exams.

I am a qualified and experienced mathematics tutor. Graduated from the Free University of Brussels in 2011, I started my career by teaching remedial courses in different schools in Brussels. I then specialized in individual academic support by following educational training at the Harvard Graduate School of Education.
