Learn Moroccan Darija with a language teacher | Conversation and communication [ONLINE]Translate this text using Google Translate.

Learn Moroccan Darija with a language teacher | Conversation and communication [ONLINE]Translate this text using Google Translate.

I am a language teacher and linguist, originally from Rabat. Moroccan Darija is my mother tongue and I have been teaching languages since 2012. My courses are aimed at people who wish to learn to understand and speak the darija actually used in Morocco, whether to communicate with their family or spouse, prepare for a stay in Morocco, live there, work with Moroccans or simply discover the Moroccan language and culture. A method adapted to your level: Each course is structured according to your level, pace, and objectives. If you are a beginner, we will progress gradually, starting with the most useful vocabulary and structures for everyday life. If you already know Darija, we will focus more on conversation, listening comprehension, vocabulary, Moroccan expressions and fluency. My background in language sciences also allows me to explain the logic of the language: word construction, conjugation, pronunciation, differences between Darija and Standard Arabic, as well as some particularities specific to Moroccan speech. You will learn, in particular, to: - introduce yourself and talk about yourself; - understand and participate in everyday conversations; - communicate with family and friends; - use the most frequent verbs and expressions; - ask questions and answer them naturally; - to gradually understand Moroccans when they speak; - to enrich your vocabulary and improve your pronunciation. Oral practice plays an important role in my courses. We work with dialogues, concrete situations, and exchanges tailored to your needs. I can also provide you with exercises and materials to continue practicing between sessions. The lessons are fully personalized and can be explained in French, Spanish or Arabic, according to your preference. Beginners, intermediate and advanced are welcome. If you wish to learn Moroccan Darija in a structured way while developing natural communication skills, I would be happy to assist you.

English and Arabic lessons and homework help -- 4 years of tutoring experienceTranslate this text using Google Translate.

Process Engineer (Chemistry). I offer English and Arabic lessons as well as homework help, tailored to the level, needs and objectives of each student. I have already had the opportunity to accompany children of different ages and levels. I also worked as an English tutor at the university for four years. This experience allowed me to develop a real knack for individual support, with very different profiles and levels. I can help you learn or improve your English or Arabic, work on grammar, vocabulary, and comprehension, improve your speaking skills, or simply gain more confidence in the language. I also offer homework help, with explanations tailored to the student's level and support to better understand lessons and develop effective study habits. I adapt to each student's pace and above all, I try to make the lessons simple, clear, and enjoyable. The goal is not just to do the exercises, but to understand, progress, and gradually become more independent. The courses are open to children, teenagers and adults, from beginner to advanced level. I primarily offer in-person lessons in Lyon 3 and Villeurbanne. Online lessons via videoconference are also available. I generally prefer an initial in-person lesson to get to know the student, understand their needs, and develop a personalized learning method. We can then continue in person or online, depending on preferences and availability.

Hello everyone, I'm Thaer, a specialized teacher in Arabic (Formal, Levantine, Gulf) & Turkish language. With over 10 years of experience teaching Arabic in Lebanon, Turkey and UAE, I've helped NGOs, journalists, and embassy staff swiftly grasp the language for effective local interaction and business. Additionally, I've supported young learners in understanding Arabic's structure, laying a strong foundation. Most common questions I receive: What dialects do you teach? I teach Formal Arabic (Fus’ha) in addition to Levantine and Gulf dialects. Which one should I choose? It depends on your needs. If you are solely interested in speaking, then I recommend Levantine or Gulf dialects. If you aim to master Arabic comprehensively, then Formal Arabic (Fus’ha) would be more suitable. What is the 30-hour program? The 30-hour program is designed to help you achieve conversational fluency and effectively express yourself and your needs. What comes after the 30 hours? If you are enrolled in the Dialects course, we will continue refining your speaking skills and expanding your vocabulary during lessons. Additionally, new words will be introduced during conversation sessions to aid in memorization and usage within sentences. For those on the Formal Arabic (Fus’ha) track, we will delve deeper into grammar and further develop your understanding of the language. How many hours a week do you recommend? I recommend 2 to 3 sessions per week. Can I learn Formal Arabic (Fus’ha) and one of the dialects simultaneously? Yes, you can take 2 lessons in Formal Arabic (Fus’ha) and 1 lesson in a dialect concurrently, as many of my students do.

Master Arabic Language & Communication | Speaking, Reading, Writing, Grammar & Academic ArabicTranslate this text using Google Translate.

Master Arabic Language & Communication | Speaking, Reading, Writing, Grammar & Academic ArabicTranslate this text using Google Translate.

Arabic becomes much easier when speaking, listening, reading, writing, grammar, and vocabulary are developed as connected skills rather than taught as isolated rules. I am a native Arabic speaker, PhD-qualified engineer, university professor, researcher, and multidisciplinary tutor with more than 30 years of experience in teaching, training, mentoring, academic work, and personalized learning. This class is designed for children, teenagers, university students, professionals, heritage learners, and adult learners who want to build a clear and confident command of Arabic. Lessons can be taught in Arabic, English, or French, allowing explanations to be adapted to the learner’s linguistic background and level. Depending on your objectives, we can focus on one specific pathway or combine several skills into a structured learning program. BEGINNER ARABIC & STRONG FOUNDATIONS • Recognizing and writing Arabic letters • Understanding isolated, initial, medial, and final letter forms • Joining letters correctly • Short and long vowels • Fatḥa, ḍamma, kasra, sukūn, shadda, and tanwīn • Reading syllables and simple words • Pronunciation and articulation • Essential vocabulary • Building simple sentences • Introducing yourself and communicating basic needs • Developing confidence from the first stages of learning SPEAKING, LISTENING & COMMUNICATION • Everyday conversation • Building practical vocabulary • Asking and answering questions • Describing people, places, events, and experiences • Developing sentence fluency • Listening comprehension • Pronunciation and intelligibility • Guided dialogues and role-play • Expressing opinions and ideas • Moving from short answers to connected speech • Formal and informal communication according to need • Modern Standard Arabic communication • Levantine conversational Arabic when requested • Building confidence for real-life interaction READING & COMPREHENSION • Accurate decoding of Arabic words • Reading fully vocalized texts • Progressing toward partially vocalized and unvocalized texts • Reading fluency • Punctuation and phrasing • Vocabulary from context • Understanding sentences and paragraphs • Identifying main ideas and supporting details • Narrative, descriptive, informational, and academic texts • Reading strategies for unfamiliar passages • Summarizing and discussing texts • Progressive work with increasingly complex materials WRITING & WRITTEN EXPRESSION • Correct letter formation and word construction • Spelling and dictation • Building accurate sentences • Connecting ideas coherently • Writing descriptions and short paragraphs • Personal and narrative writing • Writing short stories • Explanatory and argumentative writing • Summaries and structured responses • Academic paragraphs • Formal written communication • Editing for clarity, grammar, and coherence • Developing an increasingly natural written style GRAMMAR, MORPHOLOGY & LANGUAGE STRUCTURE • Parts of speech • Nominal and verbal sentences • Gender and number • Singular, dual, and plural forms • Definite and indefinite nouns • Adjectives and agreement • Personal, attached, and demonstrative pronouns • Prepositions • Past, present, and imperative verbs • Verb conjugation • Basic verb patterns • Negation • Interrogative structures • Relative pronouns • كان وأخواتها • إنّ وأخواتها • Subject and object relationships • Introduction to grammatical case endings • Iʿrāb and syntactic analysis according to level • Morphological patterns and word formation • Advanced sentence analysis when required ACADEMIC, PROFESSIONAL & ADVANCED ARABIC • Academic vocabulary • Formal written Arabic • Reading complex texts • Summarizing and synthesizing information • Structured argumentation • Research-related communication • Professional correspondence • Presentations and formal speaking • Text analysis • Improving precision and style • Advanced grammar and syntax • Editing Arabic writing • Developing clarity, coherence, and linguistic accuracy ARABIC FOR HERITAGE LEARNERS • Strengthening reading when speaking ability is already stronger • Connecting spoken Arabic to Modern Standard Arabic • Correcting gaps in grammar and spelling • Building confidence in writing • Expanding vocabulary beyond everyday family communication • Developing formal and academic Arabic • Personalized progression for learners raised outside the Arab world My teaching approach follows a clear progression: understand → hear → pronounce → read → use → write → analyze → communicate independently I do not teach Arabic as a disconnected collection of vocabulary lists and grammar rules. I connect language structure to meaningful texts, conversation, writing, and real communication. Depending on the learner’s age and level, lessons may include guided dialogues, fully vocalized texts, visual explanations, reading passages, grammar analysis, structured exercises, dictation, storytelling, writing tasks, and personalized practice. We can work with your school curriculum, university course, textbook, reading difficulties, grammar questions, writing samples, professional objectives, heritage-language needs, or personal learning goals. Whether you are learning your first Arabic letters, improving conversation, strengthening reading, mastering grammar, developing academic writing, or reconnecting with Arabic as a heritage language, I will adapt the sessions to your level, objectives, pace, and preferred learning style. My goal is to help you understand Arabic as a living, structured, and expressive language—and to use it with increasing accuracy, confidence, and independence.

Amazing Tutor for Teens - So Glad We Found Younes! I was initially hesitant about online French tutoring for my 14-year-old daughter, especially since she wasn't thrilled about starting classes in the first place. However, from the very first session with Younes, all my worries disappeared. He has an incredible ability to connect with this age group. He immediately broke the ice, made the lessons engaging, and somehow managed to get my daughter genuinely interested and actually looking forward to her next class! We've now had around 8 classes with Younes, and the difference in my daughter's confidence in school is remarkable. She's participating more in her French class and seems much more comfortable speaking and understanding the language. Younes is patient, encouraging, and clearly knows how to make learning French fun and accessible for teenagers. He creates a positive and supportive learning environment, and his passion for the language is contagious.

Hiyam is probably the best teacher I have ever had, and I am 49 years old, have a Masters degree in Physics and can speak 4 languages, so have been learning all my life. After only 2 lessons, it is obvious that she is engaging, fun, and has immense knowledge about Arabic language as well as of learning methodologies. What's even better, she adapts her teaching methods to the student, so that he or she can find their way around the complexities of learning one of the hardest languages in the world. 💯% recommend for all and any levels. Just one condition: because she is mother of 4 children and has a full time job as teacher in a school, she can't waste time in the awful traffic of Riyadh, such a big city with probably the worse traffic jams in the middle east, so she won't commute for you. You must go to her, or do it online. It's totally worth it.

We are very happy with the French lessons Awni gives to our 14-year-old daughter. He is very flexible and adapts the lessons perfectly to her needs and level! He places special focus on pronunciation, vocabulary, listening skills, and conversation, while introducing interesting topics that make the lessons engaging and enjoyable. He is also willing to adjust the lessons to the homework and topics covered at school, which has been extremely helpful for her progress and confidence in French. Our daughter genuinely enjoys the lessons because Awni is motivating, clear, patient, and kind. He creates a positive atmosphere that makes learning fun and effective at the same time!! We highly recommend him as a French teacher!
