I lived in the United Kingdom for 6 years, where I pursued my studies until obtaining a Master's degree in Glasgow in 2018. After several years of training and work in Glasgow and then London, I returned to Geneva in 2020. I continue to use English daily, both in my professional and personal life.

My priority is adapting to the individual I'm working with. I'm patient, a good listener, and a skilled teacher, and I strive to make learning concrete, accessible, and motivating. Rather than applying a one-size-fits-all method, I take the time to understand each student's needs and challenges in order to create a personalized learning plan.

I also know from experience that academic difficulties are not inevitable. During my own schooling in middle school and high school in Geneva, I encountered difficulties and worked with several tutors. This experience allowed me to "learn how to learn," to gain confidence, and to progress until I obtained my high school diploma with honors.

It is this experience that I like to pass on today: giving tools, restoring confidence and finding with each student the way that will allow them to progress.

About Me

I am an artist from Geneva, I work with photography, sound, writing and performance. My career path has been shaped by experiences abroad, notably in The Hague, Glasgow and Berlin, where I have had many wonderful encounters and varied professional experiences.

During my years of schooling in the orientation cycle and at college in Geneva (2002-2009) I too encountered difficulties and worked a lot with coaches and coaches; that's how I "learned to learn", gained self-confidence and obtained my gymnasium certificate with distinctions. I then continued my studies until obtaining a Master's degree in Visual Art in Glasgow in 2018. Hi! I’m a native English speaker and CELTA-qualified teacher, and I love helping people feel more comfortable and confident speaking English.

Before moving back to Geneva, I worked with NGOs in Greece supporting refugees and asylum seekers. As part of my work, I taught English to people from many different backgrounds and levels, as well as managing community programmes and volunteers. I really enjoyed the teaching side of my work — especially getting to know people individually and seeing their confidence grow.
