Hi, I'm Ally. I don't just teach people how to play songs; I develop independent musicians who truly understand their instrument. With over 20 years of professional experience and a decade as a senior teacher, I’ve helped hundreds of beginners move past the "stuck" phase. In this class, we move at your pace in a relaxed, supportive environment. You’ll learn technical development and fretboard visualization through a structured, outcome-driven approach. Every lesson comes with a clear, custom-engineered practice plan so you know exactly what to do between sessions. My goal is to give you the tools you need so that eventually, you won't need a teacher at all.

If you are interested in composition, music production, songwriting and performance but feel like you need some technical or creative motivation, this is the lesson for you. If you feel discouraged or overwhelmed by the technical aspects of a creative process, this is the lesson for you. In these lessons, we will work on making the most of what we have through creative-problem solving and inspiration-hunting. You bring your ideas and we develop them together, have challenging conversations and explore alternative approaches to composition, production and songwriting to get you closer to your vision. We will also explore the many possibilities of working with a live band, ensemble or orchestra and how to encourage a healthy but focused work process. Complete beginners are very welcome. You do not need previous production experience or music theory. Whether you are opening Ableton for the first time, struggling to finish tracks, or already producing and want to improve your sound, I tailor each lesson to your level, musical taste, and goals. We can work on Ableton Live, MIDI, sampling and workflow; turning loops into finished tracks; arrangement and song structure; sound design, synthesizers and effects; mixing and mastering; developing your own sound; detailed feedback on your productions; and practical advice about releases, labels, DJing and the music industry. The lessons are practical and centred on your own music. We can work directly on your projects or build a track together from scratch. I am Lars, an international DJ and music producer with more than 25 years of experience. I have released music on labels including Golden Recordings, Mobilee, Nervous, Katermukke, Stil Vor Talent and Kittball, worked with Boris Dlugosch and Phil Fuldner, and produced remixes for Purple Disco Machine and Claptone. I have performed at venues and festivals including Watergate Berlin, Pacha Ibiza, Printworks London, Tomorrowland and Fusion Festival. We take a practical and relaxed approach. No complicated theory, just tinkering with your songs together. From idea to complete track: How to turn a loose guitar riff, sample, or catchy beat into a full-fledged lo-fi song that flows nicely. Making it sound warm & spacious: Listening to your track together and using simple basic steps (such as volume, EQ, and balance) to ensure your beat sounds clear and warm. Sharing experiences with lofi releases: I enjoy sharing my own experiences as Vidalima regarding finishing tracks, uploading to Spotify, and contacting lofi playlist curators, other artists, and labels.
