What is Encore?
Encore is an AI personal learning assistant for pupils, students and adults taking online private lessons on Apprentus. It remembers the concepts you have learned and uses them to create personalised summaries, explanations, quizzes, exercises, and learning resources tailored to your needs.
Encore doesn’t replace your teacher. It extends their teaching, helping you review and practise exactly what you’ve covered in your lessons.Does Encore replace my teacher?
No. Encore extends your teacher’s guidance between lessons. Your teacher remains at the heart of your lessons, your learning method and your personal educational support.
Does Encore work with every type of class?
Encore currently works exclusively with online classes taken through Apprentus’ video lesson platform.
Can I use Encore with a teacher who isn’t registered on Apprentus?
No. Your teacher needs to be registered with Apprentus. Registration is free.
Is Encore compatible with every subject?
Encore is primarily compatible with modern languages, programming languages and academic subjects from primary school through to university level.
We are gradually testing additional subjects and activities during the beta phase.What happens if I change teachers?
If you change teachers while continuing with the same subject or learning goal, Encore keeps the history of your previous lessons and continues building on what you learn with your new teacher.
What does Encore retain from my lessons?
Encore analyses the educationally relevant content from your lessons and retains the context needed to support your learning. This allows Encore to answer your questions in the context of what you have actually covered.
